Even as their highly publicised launch of Blackberry Z10 running the latest BB 10 operating system backfired after it miserably failed to generate the expected response, it is being rumoured that BlackBerry is in the midst of bringing out yet another flagship device called Blackberry Z30, the company’s first phablet device.
Earlier believed to be called A10, the Z30 that is part of the series of devices that the Canadian giant had promised to bring before the end of this year is the successor to the current flagship phone, the Z10.
Even though nothing is officially out about Z30, there are strong rumors suggesting that it would come loaded with a 5-inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution. Believed to be launched along with the upgraded BlackBerry 10 software, 10.2, in an event lined up for next month, the Z30 is powered by a Qualcomm SoC with 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and a quad-core Adreno GPU as well as 2GB RAM.
The phablet would be equipped with 16GB of internal memory that could be further extended via microSD card. Connectivity wise it would be having the LTE connectivity. The Z30 would be sporting a 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera and powered by a 2,800 mAh battery.
